The story of the Ant and the Grasshopper English/Urdu

Once upon a time, in a small village nestled in a lush green valley, there lived an ant and a grasshopper. The ant was a diligent worker, always busy gathering food for the winter, while the grasshopper was carefree and never bothered to work, always singing and playing his guitar. One bright summer morning, the ant was busy collecting food when he stumbled upon the grasshopper lying in the sun, playing his guitar. The ant stopped to watch and asked, "Why are you not collecting food for the winter?" The grasshopper replied, "Oh, I am too busy enjoying the sunshine and singing my songs. Winter is still far away. I have plenty of time to gather food later."

The ant shook his head in disbelief and continued to work, tirelessly gathering food for the winter. Day after day, he worked hard and collected as much food as he could find. The grasshopper, on the other hand, continued to laze around, playing his guitar and enjoying the warm summer days. As the days passed, the weather began to change. The bright sunny days turned into cool autumn nights, and the leaves on the trees began to change color and fall. The ant continued to work tirelessly, gathering food for the winter, while the grasshopper remained carefree and unconcerned.

Finally, the cold winter arrived, and with it came a fierce snowstorm. The ant was prepared, with enough food to last the winter, but the grasshopper was not. He was cold, hungry, and alone, with no food or shelter to protect him from the harsh winter weather.Desperate and hungry, the grasshopper remembered the ant's warning and went to his house to beg for food. The ant, who had been kind to the grasshopper before, took pity on him and shared his food with him.

ایک دفعہ کا ذکر ہے، ایک سرسبز و شاداب وادی میں بسے ایک چھوٹے سے گاؤں میں ایک چیونٹی اور ایک ٹڈّی رہتی تھی۔ چیونٹی ایک محنتی کارکن تھی، ہمیشہ سردیوں کے لیے کھانا اکٹھا کرنے میں مصروف رہتی تھی، جب کہ ٹڈڈی بے فکر تھی اور کبھی کام کرنے کی زحمت گوارا نہیں کرتی تھی، ہمیشہ گاتی اور اپنا گٹار بجاتی تھی۔ گرمیوں کی ایک روشن صبح، چیونٹی کھانا اکٹھا کرنے میں مصروف تھی جب اس نے دھوپ میں پڑے ٹڈڈی کو ٹھوکر ماری، اپنا گٹار بجا رہا تھا۔ چیونٹی دیکھنے کے لیے رک گئی اور پوچھا کہ تم سردیوں کے لیے کھانا کیوں نہیں جمع کر رہے؟ ٹڈی نے جواب دیا، "اوہ، میں دھوپ سے لطف اندوز ہونے اور اپنے گانے گانے میں بہت مصروف ہوں۔ سردیاں ابھی دور ہیں۔ میرے پاس بعد میں کھانا اکٹھا کرنے کے لیے کافی وقت ہے۔"
